Here you will find sections on History Quiz Questions suitable for most audiences
but written with a British adult audience in mind.
They are not all historical in the normal sense but also cover notable
dates of various natures, some of which amount to trivia (the question
about the invention of Coca-cola being of dubious historical significance).
It could be argued that these should really in be in a general knowledge
section but it could also be argued that something of such massive cultural
significance does belong in the history section. To put forward an arguement
- Would it not be reasonble to put Sir Walter Raleigh's bringing of the
potato to Europe in the history section?
It is my intention to update this website as soon as possible with a huge
new batch of quiz questions so please check back soon and there will hopefuly
be a massive new colection of quiz questions and I also hope to strip
out some of the ones which may have been slightly dubious. Thanks for
your continued support in trying to get the questions on this site to
be accurate and where possible any points put forward I will try to answer
if I believe that the question as stated on the site is correct.
